 Hello dear friends, I am Shivani Gole; a student of engineering from Mumbai like every third student in India.
  This blog is about my experiences with the matters of mind, awe and experiences beyond mind and body. This is a catharsis and a way of expressing myself the way I am traveling the journey of finding the essence of life and what spirituality actually means.

Ultimate action

       So in one of the discussions, I came across a very significant question which is  what exactly is the purpose of our lives?  What is the purpose of our actions, of whatever we end up doing in life?       The generic answer to these questions could be as simple as whatever we do is to sustain life, earn money, build relationships etc. But perhaps I think what we don't do is analysis of our actions. Most of the actions are bounded and with a narrow approach. For example if we are studying something, we study to obtain a particular degree and then a job and earn money etc. What makes a particular persons work less productive is I think the attitude and motive behind that particular work. If our intention to do that work is as narrow and greedy as earning money, it will never result into something sustainable in terms of growth and development.           So now the question is why are our actions bounded by desires? Seeking is bliss.

   One of the things that keeps us bothering often is that everything we do is ultimately for happiness, satisfaction and peace of mind​; then why is it so that the only thing we are deprived of is peace of mind. The journey of humankind began thousands of years ago when man started to struggle with food, fire, shelter, transportation and what not. He then came up with language which indeed gave the birth to thought.      We never thought of a thought going beyond words, pictures, sounds in mind and the sound of silence. But we need to be able to differentiate between a thought and continuous overthinking. Humans are estimated to undergo 65,000 thoughts everyday. But why am I speaking about thoughts and thinking? The fearless

        We all are aware of the fact that we want to end up living a life full of happiness and contentment. Most of us believe that being fearless is being happy. I am yet to make an opinion on this. I think sometimes sitting near the window with a coffee and gazing the sky is more than enough to get your internal conflicts resolved. We do understand the fact that we need to be fearless and often quest to know how to do so not realising the fact that we first need to know that what exactly is fear.         The approach of how to solve a particular problem is mostly correct in the physical world. But what about the matters of mind? I think a what approach might work better for the questions of mind. So before being fearless, we need to know what fear is. To look into this a little deep, how about finding out what is root cause of fear? For for that matter, if I put it in this way; aren't desires and attachments the root cause of fear?Or are they the two sides of the same coin?
